I can’t tell you how many times I’ve hired coaches, and the first thing they want me to do is get on video, give an impromptu “I help…” speech, and start audience-building.
It’s really appreciated that Jim encouraged me to create posts about what I know and what’s worked for me in accomplishing my life and business goals.
Doing a brain dump of posts is something I actually look forward to. Not worrying about whether anybody sees them.
Yes, most coaches follow the same templates, taught to them by coaches who followed the same templates... and so on and so on...
I've been actively involved with some top-name and many no-name coaches, to the tune of over $500k invested in them in the last 30 years, and It was never about the client/person/me, it was always about them getting the testimonial ASAP.
(Before you figured out they threw you in a group and asked questions, but didn't have answers.)
Glad we were able to speak, "gasp' one-on-one, oh the sin of not coaching you in a group!
Each person has their own unique path to follow.
A good coach has to help you find that path first, then help you follow it.
Thanks for sharing Jim! Now I’ll think on what I want to just share. I’m so used to doing inspiration and encouragement on helping people ready to get out of their comfort zone so they live their dreams and enjoy their life. I think that’s why I had a difficult time getting my business started listening to everyone else.

Thank you for those kind words, Janna.

And for this I am very grateful, "A good coach has to help you find that path first, then help you follow it."
